Interesting studies
Highly recommended University! The area of study is very interesting and the teachers there are very smart and highly educated. However, as it is not the main campus of Silesian University of Technology I don't feel the spirit of University there - It is not my aim to party etc. because I'm working part time as a BI Developer but it would be nice to have more space to chill there.
Silesian University of Technology review
The level of study and interactions vary a lot between campuses and areas of study. At least in my study area and campus, it lacks proper English-speaking staff. The student life is not as international-friendly for the most part, however, it is better to meet more international/Erasmus students.
Scorchy desserts to Frozen Arctics: My Journey
Moving from Africa to Poland for my Master's in Management and Production Engineering was an adventure full of challenges and growth. The first thing that hit me was the coldcoming from a warm climate, I wasnt prepared for the biting Polish winters. I remember the shock of stepping out into the freezing air, bundled in layers of clothing, and wondering how I would ever get used to it. But the cold wasnt the only thing that took getting used to. The culture shock was real. The people were reserved, and the food was so different from what I was used to. But over time, I learned to appreciate the simplicity of Polish life, from hearty meals to quiet, efficient public transport. Academically, the program was demanding but rewarding. The mix of management theory and engineering practice offered a unique perspective that made me feel equipped to tackle the global challenges in both fields. The professors were passionate, and though there were language barriers at first, I soon found my footing. Looking back, Poland pushed me out of my comfort zone, both academically and personally. It was a tough but transformative experience that I wouldnt trade for anything.
