Studying at Erasmus University Rotterdam
My experience at Erasmus University Rotterdam was overall very positive and challenging in a good way. The university has a strong academic reputation, and this is reflected in the level of the courses and the expectations placed on students. I especially liked the focus on analytical thinking and the emphasis on understanding concepts rather than just memorising material. What I really appreciated was the international environment. Studying alongside students from many different backgrounds led to interesting discussions and different perspectives in class. Many courses included group work and presentations, which helped me develop teamwork and communication skills. The lecturers were generally knowledgeable and approachable, and I found that the programme encouraged independence and self-discipline. One aspect that could be improved is the level of personal guidance. Because of the large number of students, some courses felt quite impersonal, and it was sometimes difficult to get individual feedback. In addition, administrative communication could occasionally be clearer, especially regarding deadlines and assessment requirements. Overall, I would describe my study experience at Erasmus University Rotterdam as demanding, enriching, and motivating. It gave me a solid academic foundation, strong analytical skills, and the confidence to continue my studies in a more specialised and quantitative field.
I’m satisfied with it
I wasn’t easy but I made it through I study hard and I’m punctual
I haven’t started my study yet.
I haven’t started my study yet, therefore I don’t have any experience with the university. Nevertheless, I look forward to a great experience in the university.
